Mark Williams, CEO

Mark Williams is the chief executive officer for Elumin Healthcare Solutions, one of the country’s most progressive healthcare information technology companies.

Mark’s 25 years of healthcare IT experience, technology insight, leadership, and operational expertise have strengthened Elumin’s ability to deliver the best product — and the best support — in the industry. He’s helped the company expand into new markets and extend its portfolio to include clients from around the country.

His vast and in-depth knowledge of deploying large-scale academic, multi-facility, pediatric, and ambulatory and inpatient clinical information systems has allowed Mark to become an expert in electronic medical records, electronic health records, and revenue cycle solutions.

Mark has worked with healthcare facilities from all 50 states, including many of the leading national healthcare providers: Alaska Native Medical Center, Alegent Health, Banner Healthcare, Children’s Medical Center (Dallas), Catholic Healthcare West (CHW), Intermountain Healthcare, Kuakini Health System, MeritCare Health System, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Premier Health Partners, University Health Care, and UW Medicine.

Prior to joining Elumin, Mark worked for Intermountain Healthcare, Siemens Medical (formally SMS Corporation), Microsoft Corporation, Carefx Corporation, and Encentuate Inc. (now an IBM company). During his time with Siemens Medical he helped lead the creation of their Project Management Division, overseeing several of its largest and most complex implementation solutions, including systems at an 11 hospital IDN, successfully and simultaneously bringing them “live” — on time and on budget.

While working for Microsoft Corporation, as a member of the Life Sciences Solutions Team, he collaborated with providers and partners to implement IT solutions that deliver business and clinical results faster and more accurately.

Since leaving Microsoft he’s been focused on working with strategic organizations, such as Carefx Corporation and Encentuate Inc., to pave the way for healthcare providers to merge data with delivery of care, allowing for a more educated clinical decision process and a more robust business tracking platform, and ultimately, improving medical and business outcomes.

Mark attended the University of Utah with a dual major in accounting and mechanical and structural engineering with a while minoring in economics. Mark gratefully counts as an asset an extensive personal network of leaders from firms including Allscripts, Cerner, CHIME, Epic, HIMSS Analytics, Microsoft, and KLAS.

Sherry Williams, COO

Sherry Williams is the chief operations officer for Elumin Healthcare Solutions. She’s responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations for one of the most dynamic consulting firms whose focus is exclusive to healthcare information technology.

Sherry’s 25 years of operational leadership, fiscal stewardship, human capital management, and her ability to discover efficiencies, complement her consummate customer-centric management style. Sherry has a distinguished reputation for being able to lead organizations through major business transformations while simultaneously optimizing performance and creating a culture that embraces new processes and practices.

She has spent her entire career in the healthcare sector, serving in positions that have given her a broad perspective of the entire healthcare continuum; she was a member of a Siemens Medical regional management team and the COO of Washington Imaging Services a leading outpatient imaging services provider for the greater metropolitan Seattle.

At Siemens Medical Sherry was responsible for $30 million in annual revenue as well as the development and management of a team who maintained front-line relationships with key accounts.

At a leading outpatient imaging service provider on the east side of Seattle Sherry was responsible for all day-to-day operations and approximately 80 full-time employees. She improved customer satisfaction by 28% while improving employee satisfaction by 22% and reducing operational costs by 11%, all while increasing revenues by 22% annually.

Early in her career, as a medical technologist at Mount Carmel Health, Sherry demonstrated the ability to optimize and streamline processes. She was soon promoted to manage the entire lab in the evenings, followed shortly by a request to lead the hematology lab, exhibiting the model of leadership to the entire Mount Carmel Health laboratory division.

Sherry may be best known, however, for using her remarkable interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service. Her ability to motivate her staff has helped Elumin create the preeminent customer experience. As a member of Elumin’s leadership team Sherry is also focused on creating a ‘best practice’ model for the organization while providing career growth opportunities for staff to help them better serve customers.

Sherry attended the University of Findlay, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in science with an emphasis in medical technology.
